I have tried deleting cookies, history and temp files. Im running xp. however the drop down list is still there. How do I remove the names from there thanking you all for you help.

~Have you tried to delete it directly from the drop down menu? Highlight the username, and then right click on it and delete.
Another option to try is going under Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, Auto Complete, Click on Clear Forms and Clear Passwords.
This may delete more than you want to however, but it should remove the ones for Yahoo.
Reply:1) open internet explorer %26amp; go to tools then internet option then at general tab find tempr. internet files %26amp; select delect cookies %26amp; then delete files %26amp; check-select (delete offline files ) %26amp; press ok
2) then find content %26amp; find auto complet %26amp; select clear forms %26amp; passwords
it take some time but it will work
