When you log into your yahoo email, if shows an f with a 3 digit number behind it ex, f555, is it possible for someone to have the same yahoo id linked to 2 seperate F #'s??

Can a person have 2 different yahoo email accounts under the same yahoo ID?
NO. An ID is a unique identification code. But you can create up to 6 profiles in 1 ID.

How do I get an extra mail address?

It's really easy! Just follow these steps:

Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.

From the list on the left, click Accounts.

The second half of this page is called "Extra Mail Address." Click Get Started and follow the instructions to create an extra mail address.

Note: When you create an extra mail address, it appears in the list of Yahoo! Mail accounts shown on this page. To help prevent spamming, an extra address can only be changed twice in one year.

Reply:I think that is a random number generated by yahoo site. it is possible that you may see different numbers.

if you want to know whether you can directly log into someone's account by simply the name in that url (that shows up while logging, the answer is no (yahoo is definitely clever enough to take care of that).
