Somebody has added me as contact in yahoo answers but there is no email id how i can contact him back?
the mail is sent by yahoo answers. the link is if i want him to add as a contact which i already did. but i cant find his mail id or contact

I checked your profile and also the profile of your only fan/contact: by clicking his/her avatar, you can enter his profile. And there it says that he doesn't allow email contact and he also doesn't want IM contact. Could be that because he is a fairly new user, he just doesn't know how to enable mail contact or that he is afraid of getting flooded with Spam. My suggestion: go to your own profile, click "edit my info", scroll down to the "about me" box at the bottom and enter infos about how to enable mail contact without calling out his screen name. Then click "preview" and "okay". What you entered in that box will now appear in your profile right underneath your avatar and your contact should get the hint...:-)

How do I delete the 'type a yahoo id' and 'type an email address',?
I have tried deleting cookies, history and temp files. Im running xp. however the drop down list is still there. How do I remove the names from there thanking you all for you help.

~Have you tried to delete it directly from the drop down menu? Highlight the username, and then right click on it and delete.
Another option to try is going under Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, Auto Complete, Click on Clear Forms and Clear Passwords.
This may delete more than you want to however, but it should remove the ones for Yahoo.
