How can i find someone's email id on facebook?

i found a very old friend of mine on facebook 2 weeks ago and sent him an invitation..but he doesnt seem to b opening his account nowadays coz i never received any reply from him.. so is ther any chance i could get his email id from his account (which seems to b locked or something) to contact him ? please help!!
